Hailing from Malaysia, Ciyin is always pushing herself to achieve more success in the music career. Looking to perfect the technical abilities and develop own unique style, Ciyin draws upon her lifelong passion for music.
She has not always been musically gifted, but she is dedicated from a young age, to sing, perform, play piano and making music. She believes music can drives her motivation, and motivation can make her music better. Now she is passionate about developing her technical music skills and theoretical knowledge, to achieve the next level of success in music and to help the others as professionally as she can.

Musical education and experiences
2006-2019
Music Lessons on Piano and Vocal
Ciyin has been learning and practicing piano since she was 10. She has the knowledge of music theory in song-writing, arranging and some classical composing such as choral music. Besides, she joined choir and self-taught pop-singing for years. To be honest, she has a vast range of voice!

Music Technology
In this modern era, it is difficult to stay away from the growth of digital music technology. This is one reason why Ciyin wanted to learn about DAWs, recording processes and digital music engraving. Added with her interest, Ciyin is currently taking courses of music technology in University of Science, Malaysia (USM) and also personal classes from Musicpreneur.asia under Serene Music Group.

Live Stage Performance
Ciyin started her performances back in time when she was young, especially in school performances such as the preschool graduation, charity shows and annual school concerts either as solo or choir vocals. Since 2015, Ciyin has been performing as a keyboardist and back vocalist as well solo play-and-sing performances.

Writing Experience
With a notebook in hand, Ciyin can write songs while she wants and needs. Writing songs is her hobby and she wants to make it a profession even she is still a student. Ciyin mostly write in English and Chinese. However she has the plan to work on Malay songs, adding some local traditional elements and trying different genres or music styles.
